The subject is typically the noun or pronoun that performs the action of the sentence. The object, on the other hand, receives the action of the verb.

A verb is a part of speech that expresses an action, occurrence, or state of being. It is the main component in forming sentences.

The basic parts of speech include nouns, pronouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs, prepositions, conjunctions, and interjections.

A phrase is a group of words that functions as a single unit within a sentence. A clause, on the other hand, contains a subject and a predicate and can stand alone as a complete sentence.

'Its' is the possessive form of 'it', indicating ownership. 'It's' is a contraction of 'it is' or 'it has'.

Gerunds are verb forms that function as nouns by adding -ing to the base form of a verb. They can be used as subjects, objects, or complements in sentences.

The basic tenses in English grammar are present, past, and future. Each tense has various forms- simple, continuous, perfect, and perfect continuous.

Conjunctions are words that connect words, phrases, or clauses. They help to create relationships between different parts of a sentence, such as indicating addition, contrast, cause and effect, etc.
